Mark Candidate as Viewed
POST
/AtsJob/{applyId}/markViewedMarks a job apply as viewed on the portal. Use this endpoint to keep the “viewed” status in the employer dashboard in sync with your system.
How to Use
Get the list of applies
Call GET /AtsJob/appliesByJob/{jobId}.
Find the apply ID
Take the id field of the desired apply from the response — this is your applyId.
Mark it viewed
Send POST /AtsJob/{applyId}/markViewed with your Bearer token.
After the call the apply will have the “viewed” status on the portal. If it was
already viewed, nothing changes and the endpoint still returns 200.

Notes
- The endpoint is idempotent — calling it multiple times for the same apply is safe and always returns
200. - The
JobApplyViewedevent is published only on the first call (when the apply transitions from “not viewed” to “viewed”).
